June Pope

June M Pope, 82, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and member of Ringgold Church of Christ. In her free time she enjoyed traveling with friends and taking care of family. She was preceded in death by parents Lucien Mills and Margie Dorsey and sister Johnnie Ruth Scruggs. She is survived by sons, Terry (Patricia) Pope, Red Bank, Jeff Pope, Chattanooga; daughter, Sherri (Lamar) Cox, Rossville; grandchildren, Daniel Pope, Cody Cox, and Heather (Cory) Broom; and great -grandchildren, Brody, Bo, and Waylon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mike Gurganus officiating. Interment will be in Lomineck Cemetery.
