Vernon Heifner, 90, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, at his home following a brief illness. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Ragon officiating. Masonic Rites will also be observed. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga. The family will receive friends on today from 4-6 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
