Guy Layne Jr.

Phines Guy Layne Jr. passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was a retired employee of Sequatchie Handle Works. Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Layne; parents, Phines G. and Jenny V. Layne Sr.; and sisters, Sue Perry and Beverly Bolton. He is survived by his brothers, Eugene and James Layne; sister, Lydia Guy; stepchildren, David and Charles Walters, Rose Cartwright, Patricia Garner, and Barbara Turner; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. CDT, Saturday, March 29, 2014. The family will receive friends from noon until 8 pm CDT today, March 28, 2014.
