Louise Coker

Mazell "Louise" Coker, 81, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Burning Bush and Peavine and a homemaker her entire life. Louise was a member of Peavine Baptist Church and loved her family dearly. She especially took great joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Kitty Barnes; her brother, Buddy Barnes; sisters, Zora Lee, Martha Cain, and Joe Adkins; her son, Danny Lee Coker; and her grandson, Jason Coker. Louise is survived by husband, Roy Lee "Buck" Coker. They had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in February. She is also survived by daughters, Cindy (Bobby) Rose and Chris Coker, of Rock Spring, Wanda (Mike) Barfield, of Lafayette; sons, Tony "Cowboy" (Ann) Coker, of Ringgold and Roy Steve Coker, of Rock Spring; sister, LE Sims, Ringgold; brother, Ray Barnes, Ringgold; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dennis Patrick officiating. Interment will be in Peavine Baptist Church Cemetery.
