Sheila Spurgeon

Sheila Faye Spurgeon, 63, a loving mother and sister passed away, Saturday, March 29, 2014. She had worked at Shaw Industries and was a member of Trenton Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ronnie Spurgeon and son, Jeremy Spurgeon. Survivors include her daughter, Heather Spurgeon, Trenton, Ga.; son, Gene Wooten, Henagar, Ala.; sister, Brenda (Jackie) Smith, Trenton; and two brothers, Bryan (Billie) Gass and James (Jean) Gass , both of Trenton; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Monday, March 31, 2014, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Tinker officiating. Burial will be held in Brown Gap Cemetery.
