Claude Anderson

Claude Leon Anderson, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born in Sewanee, Tenn., on Jan. 16, 1945 to George Washington and Ella Mae Rust Anderson who preceded him in death along with his brothers, George, Charles, Buck and William Anderson; sisters, Nancy Mae Alley, Patricia Anderson, Sallie Rachel Anderson. He is survived by his sons, Claude Leon "Smiley" Anderson Jr. and Brian Jason Anderson; daughters, Melissa K. Anderson, Crissie (Jody) Campbell, Connie Anderson, Amanda (Ray) Comer and Lynn (Mark) Richardson; mother of his children, Sylvia Kay Anderson; sisters, Abbie (Lonnie) Borne, Carolyn (Joe) Cox and Faye (Sam) Smith; uncle, Vance "Tub" Myers; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minsters Charlie Keener, Raymond Borne and Jody Campbell officiating with burial to follow in Swiss Colony Cemetery.
