Ruth Pickett

Mattie Ruth Pickett, 95, Signal Mountain, joined her family on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Pickett; parents, Willis Warner and Mary Gertrue Vandergriff; brothers, Morris, Jesse and Clyde Vandergriff; and her sister, Willie Mae Harvey Holloway. Ruth leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends who will cherish her many memories. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. today in Chattanooga Memorial Park. Visitation is noon-2 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
