Martha Strawter

Martha S. Strawter, 63, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at her residence. Martha attended Tennessee-Wesleyan College in Athens and was employed as an office manager in the medical field. She loved the Riverpark, picnicking and watching old movies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Katherine Shaw. Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Gregory Strawter; father-in-law, Oscar Strawter; sister, Nancy (Robert) Duncan; sisters-in-law, Joyce (Earl) Newman, Hazel (Steve) Christopher, Shirley (James) Draper, Pat (Fritz) Moore, & Cynthia Cole Strawter; brothers-in-law, Thomas Jones, Ulysses Strawter, Fred (Ada) Strawter and Lee Strawter; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and many friends. A special thank you to David and Brenda Bullard, Calvin Foster and Janette Irvin for the help and support they have given to Martha.
