Joann Shipley

Joann Shipley, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Manson Sr.; and mother, Mary Benedetti. Survivors include her husband, Fernando Shipley Sr.; sons, Bruce Stokes Jr., of Chattanooga, Joseph Messer, of Cleveland, and Gabriel Shipley, of Chattanooga; stepson, Fernando Shipley Jr., of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Mysti Cannon, of Sevierville; Whitney Shipley, and Maya Shipley, both of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; brother, Floyd Manson Jr., of Savannah, Ga.; stepbrother, Victor Benedetti, of Virginia; sister, Rosie Manson, of Alabama; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
