Leroy McCarver

Leroy McCarver, 68, passed away Friday May 2, 2014. A native of Dunlap, Tenn., he has lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. Leroy was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Rossville, was a member of the Quitman Masonic Lodge where he was a 32nd-degree Mason and was a member of the Shriners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Levi and Dollie Faye Sunderland McCarver; son, Jody McCarver; brother, Bill McCarver and five infant brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha "Marty" Brown McCarver; son, Daniel McCarver; four daughters, Carla McIntyre (Josh), Laurissa Stone, Jennifer Stone, and Jamie Starr (Anthony); two sisters, Emma Eppes (Richard) and Etta Hayworth (Burless); 11 grandchildren; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Westside Baptist Church in Rossville with Brother Gary Moore officiating.
