Amma Powell

Amma Lee Powell, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mae and Culberson Burrows; brothers, Marvin Burrows, C.L. Burrows, Ruberp Burrows; and son, Mitchell Powell. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Paul Powell; sons, Joe Keith, Lonnie Ard; daughters, Teresa Brown, Laura Ellis, Sarah Chambers, Paula Reagan; brothers, Rayburn Burrows, Steve Burrows; sisters, Patricia Roos, Sarah Denkier; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. today, May 8, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Stancil officiating. Allen Ellis, Lonnie J. Ard, Darren Meeks, Steve Burrows, Phillip Martin, Josh Hearpy, and Eric Hill will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tenn.
