Catherine Holder

Catherine Mayfield Holder, 85, died Monday, May 5, 2014, in a local hospital. The daughter of the late Robert Jeff and Ada Mason Mayfield, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Holder; brother, John Robert Mayfield; sister, Fannie Graham; and son, Tommy Wayne Saylors. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Saylors, of South Pittsburg; son, Roy K. "Mack" (Sheila) Saylors, of Stevenson, Ala., Janice Goins; daughter-in-law, Lila Saylors; seven grandchildren, Cheston Saylors, Jeffrey Saylors, Sabrina Saylors, Hollie Saylors, Candy Williams, Arleana McCafferty and Dell Jackson; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Gerald) Thomas, of South Pittsburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 11 a.m. today, May 8, 2014, with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating.
