Marilyn Oakes

Marilyn Orend Oakes, 66, of North Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded by her parents, Mary and Frank Orend of North Chattanooga. Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Sandy Mitchum and Wendy Wilhelm; son, Michael Oakes; and brother, Frank Orend. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul at 214 E. Eighth St., Chattanooga, TN 37402.
