Vickie L. Mercer, 62, of Chattanooga passed Saturday, May 3, 2014, at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Brook Mercer; daughter, Brandie Benham; son, David Young; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Tyner Cemetery with Brother Richard Floyd officiating. The body will lie in state from 2 from 7 p.m. today, May 8, 2014, with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m. "On this Motherss Day I will be singing praises to my Heavenly Father, Dancing with the angels Blessed with love, while in complete peace. I lived my life to the fullest as a mother, daughter, grandma and wife, When I took my last breathe I began my new journey in this heavenly place Now this is my life. Do not cry for me my loves I am doing mighty fine, I will be having my next supper with God by my side, Instead smile, laugh and remember me. I love you all very much".
