Bryan Hanson

Bryan Eugene Hanson, 87, departed this life Thursday, May 8, 2014. He was born in Omaha, Neb., to the late Bryan and Alberta Hanson. Bryan was raised in Montana and graduated from the University of Montana; he also served his country in the United States Army in WWII, and later retired from Roper as a Quality Control Manager there. He attended Christ United Methodist Church in Chattanooga. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hanson; and daughter, Karen Fultz. Survivors include his children, Bryan J. (Diane) Hanson, of Fort Oglethorpe, Maureen (Ray) Walters, of Arkansas; grandchildren, Sarah, Shelby, Nick; great-grandchildren, Jessa, Cole son-in-law, Fred Fultz of Illinois; dear friend, Myra Berube; and many nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at a later date in St. Patrick Cemetery Danville, Ill. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
