Eula Mae Banks, departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2014, surround by family and friends at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, Ga. She was born Feb. 7, 1947 to Annie D. Hall and the late Luther Parris in Limestone County, Ala. She was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1966. Her interest included Interior Decorating, Cooking and spending time with her family. She devoted her time and energy as a House Manager for Orange Grove Center. In 2012 Eula rededicated her life to Christ. Ms. Eula M. Banks is survived by her mother, Annie D. Hall; sister, Linda G. Parris-Barnette, of Marietta, Ga.; brother, Phillip W. Parris, of Chattanooga; and stepsister, Lois Hurd of Chattanooga; six children, Nannette Parris, Marietta, Ga., Antonio (Michelle) Parris, Chattanooga, Reginald L. Banks, Winchester, Ky., Geraldine Banks, Nashville, Gerald Banks, Chattanooga, and Jacqueline (Emanuel) Stamper, Chattanooga; host grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Chapel with Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
