Bobby Swann

Bobby Joe Swann, 54, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Bobby has been a resident of Flintstone since 1975 and was of the Christian faith. He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co. for the last 10 years. Bobby was an avid NASCAR and University of Tennessee Fan, who will be greatly missed. Bobby is survived by his parents, Gertie and Billy Floyd, of Flintstone; daughter, Elizabeth Swann (Kurt) Henkel, of Ringgold; sister Kate Vaughn, of Flintstone; brothers, David Swann, of Flintstone and Barry (Teri) Floyd, of Harriman; granddaughter, Ariel Watts; and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Rev. Jon Bemis officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today, 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and prior to leaving for the service on Tuesday.
