Wanda Richie

Wanda Neeley Richie, 79, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at her home. Wanda retired from Kmart in Hixson as an office manager after many years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church Soddy-Daisy where she was a member of the Welcome Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Pearl Neeley; step daughter, Terri Richie. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Richie; son, Randy (Eva) Millsaps, of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Tom (Cheryll) Neeley, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Beth Millsaps, of Soddy-Daisy and Jamie (Micky Deweese) Millsaps, of Cookeville, Tenn.; nieces, Amy Neeley and Gina (Bill) Reed; great niece and nephew, Savannah and Jacob Raymond. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May, 13, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Seton Tomyn officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Ben Nadeau M.D. at Tennessee Oncology and Wanda's caregivers, Kim Walker, Amanda Killingsworth, Candice Dent and Nicole Patterson for all of love and care they provided during her illness.
