KNOXVILLEEdBorum, 60, passed away suddenly Monday, May 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Nell Borum; brother, Buck Borum; sisters, Bobbie Jean Beckett, and Joyce Woodburn; aunt, Edna Pendergrass; uncle, Patrick Tracy; and Ruby Earl, his "partner in crime". He was survived by his ex-wife and friend, Jill Earl; daughter and son-in-law, Kara Earl Borum and Jason Grimaldi; son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Renee Rowntree; deeply cherished granddaughter, Leia Grimaldi; lifelong friend, Steve Weatherford; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and John Gilbert of Wyoming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Donna Borum of California, Randy and Sheila Borum of Chattanooga; special cousins, Frances and James Mullinax; ex-sister-in-law and ex-brother-in-law Martha Earl and Walter Gawryla, and and various beloved nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church, 1620 North Central St., Knoxville, TN 37917. A "Celebration of his Life" will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Bailes and Rev. Bob Bean officiating.
