Pat Bridgman

Pat Bridgman, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at her residence. She had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and Chatsworth area and she had worked as a CNA for hospice for over 10 years. She was an active member of Grace Bible Church in Chatsworth and her passions in life were God, church, family, and always being there for others to be of encouragement and lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Benny Bridgman; and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, John M. Carter Jr., of Chesapeake, Va., Jeannie M. Henner, of East Brainerd, and Benjamin Bridgman, of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chuck Clark and Rev. David Cox officiating. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
