George Eakin LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN George Wayne Eakin, 85, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2014, after a long illness. He was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Wydean Eakin; daughters, Belinda Eakin, Darlene Behre; and brother, Raymond Eakin. Survivors include his son-in-law, Michael Behre; brother, Melvin Eakin; sisters, Hazel Baugh, Tot Short; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Sam, Rachel, Madison and Baylee Farmer for their great caregiving during his illness. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today, May 17, 2014, at Griffin Cemetery on Lookout Mountain. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
