Betsy DiPrima

Bessie Mae "Betsy" DiPrima, 72, died May 16, 2014 at her residence with her family at her side. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and member of Redemption Point Church. Betsy loved her family and enjoyed spending her time with them. She is survived by husband of 39 years, Romeo "Joe" DiPrima; daughters, Teresa (David) Baskette, Fort Oglethorpe, Stacy (Brandon) Chase, Rossville; son, Romeo DiPrima Jr. III, Rossville; brother, Edgar Evans, Hixson; sister, Sheila Fowler, Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Ben and Zack Peters, Kinsey Bishop, Josh DiPrima, Courtney Baskette, Brandon Chase, and Madison DiPrima; great-grandchildren, Ariel, Romeo, and Camden Peters, and Lily Bishop; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Kevin Wallace officiating.
