Duane Ezell

William Duane Ezell, 55, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at his home. A lifetime resident of Spring City, Duane was the son of the late William Hubert "Bulldog" and Viola Miller Ezell. He was a graduate of Rhea County High School. Duane worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority for more than 25 years. He was a member of Spring City United Methodist Church. Duane enjoyed golfing and farming. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Ezell. Survivors include his wife, Judy Cash Ezell, of Spring City; daughter, Amanda Ezell, of Spring City; sisters, Dorline (Jim) Russo, of Millboro, Va., Lee Meyerhoff, of Chattanooga, Diana (Jim) Benoit, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Denise Ezell, of Evensville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, May 24, 2014, at Spring City United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating. A private interment will be held in Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends today at the Family Life Center following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring City United Methodist Church, P.O.
