Glenn Wilson Jr.

Glenn Wilson Jr., 45, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He has been a resident of the Chattanooga area since 2005 and attended Brainerd United Methodist Church. Glenn was a 1987 graduate of Bridgeport High School of Bridgeport, Ala., and earned a bachelors degree as well as a masters degree at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala. He retired from the state of Georgia as an Environmental Health Specialist. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Glenn Wilson Sr., of Hollywood, Ala. Glenn is survived by his wife, of nine years, Sarah Elizabeth Wilson, of Ringgold; daughter, Natalie Wilson of Ringgold; mother, Naomi Wilson, of Hollywood, Ala.; sisters, Barbara Wilson, of Hollywood, Ala., and Shelby Allison, of Stevenson, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Brainerd United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dennis W. Flaugher and Rev. Mark Davis officiating.
