Betty Drecoll

Betty Jean Drecoll, 84, of Hixson, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014. She was a longtime resident of Hixson and of the Baptist faith. Betty had worked at DuPont, Fox Photo and Kays Kastles at Highland Plaza. She was avid at needle work and loved her nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Drecoll; parents, Stetson and Polly Harcrow; and brothers, Ralph and Harold Harcrow. Survivors include her sisters, Shirley (Bill) Williams, Roberta Henderson and Kathryn Profitt; brothers, Glen Harcrow and Nicky (Linda) Harcrow; special friend, Carolyn; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ricky Harcrow officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
