Alberta Sterrett

Alberta H. Sterrett, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. She was born on March 8, 1925 in Princeton, Ky.,and was the daughter of the late Albert Hagan and Ilene Mitchell Hagan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sterrett and sister, Clover Crouch. Alberta retired from BlueCross BlueShield and was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Richard) Pettibone, of Chattanooga; grandson, Mitchell (Hallie) Bailey; and two great-grandchildren. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
