Mindy Simmons

Malinda Simmons PIKEVILLE Malinda L. "Mindy" Simmons, 54, passed away on March 30, 2015. She was of the Church of God faith and was a member of the West End Church of God. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts. Mindy cherished the time she got to spend with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Jay Bowman and Evelyn Troglin Bowman; and her maternal grandmother, Bessie Troglin. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jesse (Eiron) Simmons and Leslie (Matt) Lockhart, both of Pikeville, Tenn.; sisters, Tammy Cranfill, Pikeville, Mitzi (Tim) Henson, Warsaw, Ind., and Cyndee (Tim) Debord, Pikeville; grandchildren, Taylor, Ike, Zeth, Jack and Luke; nieces, SaBra Debord and Jessica Henson; and many friends. A Celebration of Mindys Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. CDT with Minister Ken Norris officiating.
