Lewis Brock Sr.

Lewis Franklin Brock Sr., 78, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and a member of Abbas House, Chattanooga. Lewis worked for Erlanger for nine years and was a loving Husband, Daddy, Paw and Brother, who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Vedia Cathy Brock; sisters, Jewell Thacker and Frances Watkins; and brothers, Jerry Brock and Wayne Brock. Lewis is survived by his loving wife, of 61 years, Bernice M. Brock; children, Diane (Tom) Grier, of Fort Oglethorpe, Lewis (Cynthia) Brock Jr., of Cleveland and Debbie (Don) Wilks ,of Rossville; brother, Bobby Dewayne Brock, of Rossville; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Chris Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. 6 to 9 p.m. today and prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
