Jewell Brackett

Jewell D. Brackett, 75, of Ooltewah, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2015, at her home. Jewell was employed with McKee Bakery for several years. She enjoyed going to yard sales and working in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mae Davis; father, Hardy Davis Sr.; two sisters, Evelyn "Dot" and Mildred Bowman; and a brother, Harold Davis. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Stanley Brackett; three sons, Joe Lowe, Stanley Lowe and Shane Lawson; two daughters, Teresa Kecskes and Eve Brackett Simpson; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. The family will gather with friends on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
