Joe Acuff

Joe White Acuff, born May 18, 1933, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2015, in Mesquite, Texas. He was a devout member of the Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the Department of Defense. A devoted loving husband for over 60 years. Survived by his wife, Emma Acuff; son, Hollis Acuff; daughter, Michelle Acuff; grandchild, Corey Daniel; brother, John (Carolyn) Acuff; and many loving family and friends. Preceded in death by brother, Robert Acuff, of Soddy, Tenn.; and parents, White and Estelle Acuff. Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Interment at Mahonet Cemetery.
