Sheila McCurdy

Sheila Coffelt McCurdy, 58, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stella Slatton Coffelt; sisters, Brenda Garner and Fredia Coffelt; brothers, Jimmy and Von Coffelt. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Julian Edwards; daughters, Misty McCurdy and Melinda McCurdy; sister, Tracy Coffelt; brothers, Gary, Kenneth, Larry and Ronnie Coffelt; four grandchildren; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. CDT Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 in the chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Chamblee officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends today, Aug. 2, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. CDT at the funeral home. Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home LLC, Jasper, Tenn.
