Darwin Marshall Sr.

Darwin Marshall Sr., 79 of South Pittsburg, went home to be with the Lord, on Aug. 28, 2015. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie L. Marshall; parents, Brice and Bessie Borrows Marshall. Darwin is survived by his son, Darwin Marshall Jr.; daughters, Cindy Lynn (Dan) Gothard, Edith Amanda (Dale) Johnson and Susan Jacqueline (SSG. William) Hamby; sisters, Carrie Lou Berube and Martha Underwood; grandchildren, Lamar, Angie, Susie, Alex, Nicole, Brittany and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Logan, Coby, Levi, Eva; great-great-grandchildren, Ansley and William. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, with Brother Darrrell Nunley and Brother David Gudger officiating. Interment will follow in Lynch Cemetery. The families will receive friends from 2 until 8 p.m. CDT today, Aug. 29, 2015.
