Norna Campbell

Norna Mae Slatton Campbell, 85, went home to be the Lord, Saturday, August 29, 2015. She had worked in several area shirt factories. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Campbell; parents, Huke and Bertha Kilgore Slatton; sisters, Elsie Slatton, Margie Smith, Dorthy Higgins and Rachel Griffith; brothers, Everett, Frank, Johnny, Billy Curg and Wallace Slatton; and son-in-law, Gary Anderson.. Norna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rod Campbell; her children, Jeannie (Buddy) Richardson, of Griffith Creek, Ricky Potts (Debra Kilgore), of Palmer, Debbie Brown (Bo Layman), of Palmer, Ronald (Rita) Potts, of Dayton, and Audrey Anderson, of Palmer; brothers, R. B. (Carolyn) Slatton and Horace (Zella) Slatton, both of Gruetli-Laager; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-9 p.m. CDT, today, Aug. 30, 2015 at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at Layne Funeral Home, in Palmer, at 2 p.m. CDT, Monday, Aug. 31, with Brother Jeremy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery.
