Tonnie Mayo, 82, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Cloverdale Manor. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Mayo and Allon Johnson, Martha Mayo and Frankie Durham, Janet Mayo and Rickey Boydston; grandchildren, Rebecca (Rick) Sproat, Alex Johnson, Rachel (Chris) Rose, Jeremy (Kim) Johnson, Amanda (Do) Smith, James (Neka) Durham, Whitney (Max) Tarkington, Caitlin (Tyler) Muir, Bethany Boydston, Connor Boydston; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Rozene Palmer (Roland); brothers, Ellis Mayo and Burlie Mayo. Mr. Mayo was a retired welder, a member of Ider Ashlar Lodge and Fuller Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Turner and Bessie Vera Vann Mayo; wife, Dorothy Boydston Mayo; son, Eddie Mayo; grandson, Allon Johnson Jr.; brother, Albert Mayo.
