Doyle Bass

Doyle E. "Tim" Bass, 56, of Hixson, loving husband and father to Donna Barnes-Bass and son Daniel Wilson, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Tim was a heavy equipment operator and loved to compete with his skills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin Dale Bass and Ruby Tate Bass; son, Nathaniel Lee Bass; and brother, Bobby Bass. Survivors other than his wife and son include his brother, Wayne "Tiny" Bass; sisters, Ola and Billy Hudson and Delietha Bass, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Sam and Amie Wilson; niece, Amy L. Hudson; and nephew, Jeffery L. Bass. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Millie Bonham officiating. Burial will follow in Thans Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 108 p.m. today and 10-1 p.m. Thursday.
