Bo Whaley

Wilburn "Bo" Whaley, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was the owner/operator of Whaleys Used Cars for 50-plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Lillie Mae Whaley; wife, Rhoda Juanita Whaley; son, Wilburn Whaley Jr.; and five siblings. Survivors include his daughters, Connie (John) Weir of Rossville, Ga., and Karen Lynn Alderman of Ringgold; sisters, Alene Boyd and Bertha Eslinger; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four step-children and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015, in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Pastor Dennis Chambers officiating.
