James Crumble Jr.

James E. Crumble Jr., 91, passed away on June 13, 2015 in Silver Spring, Md. having succumbed to cancer. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosabelle Williams and mother, Eugertha Crumble. He served in the U.S.Army during WWII and retired from the South Jersey Gas Co. He was born in Atlantic City and lived in the area until his retirement. He then lived in Chattanooga, for 23 years before moving to Silver Spring, Md. seven years ago. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mamie Louise Crumble; son, James (Rachel) Crumble, of Chattanooga; daughter, Patricia (Martin) Johnson, of Kissemee, Fla.; loving niece, Eve Stewart, of Silver Spring Maryland, who cared for him until his death; several grandchildren, nieces and a nephew. Arrangements have been entrusted to Maryland Crematory Services.
