Emily Harding

Emily Jane Bush Huckabee Harding, a longtime resident of Ooltewah, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was 78. Emily was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. Long time secretary of BF Goodrich and Red Brown Tire. Emily loved everyone around her and showed us what it meant to be open, accepting and a person of bountiful faith she was a caregiver to many families. Emily was preceded in death by parents, Flora Cranfill Bush and Charles E."Ted"Bush; brother, Harold A. Bush; and husband, Phillip Huckabee. Survivors include her husband, Orville Harding; son, Ed (Stephanie) Huckabee; grandchildren, Rachael and Jacob Huckabee; stepchildren, Karen (Brad) Shane, Steve Harding; brother-in-law, Avery "Jake" Harding; sisters-in-law Freda (Leon) Huckabee Bagby, Josie Harding Jones, Jean Harding Smith, Bertha Harding Holley; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be at Bayside Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11. Memorial contributions may be made to Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, TN 37341.
