Patricia Avans

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Avans, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She had worked for Dade County School System in food services management. She enjoyed dancing and singing karaoke. She was a member of Sand Mountain United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louise "Bill" Daniel; sister, Bobbie Jean Daniel. Survivors include her daughter, Lashawn (Rick) Hawkins; son, Danny (Tammy) Avans; three grandchildren, Aaron Thomas, Adam Thomas and Ryan Avans; one great-grandson, Trent Thomas. Funeral services will be held at noon EST Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Clay Moreland officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Gap Cemetery.
