Timothy Kidd Sr.

Texas Timothy A. Kidd Sr., 57, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Snyder, Texas. His funeral was held Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, with Rev. Paul Goodrich officiating. Interment followed in Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Lunns Colonial Funeral Home, Wichita Falls. Tim was born on Nov. 1, 1957 in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. At the age of 4, he was adopted by his loving aunt and uncle, Betty and Robert Kidd. Tim graduated from Rider High School in 1976 and attended Midwestern University. He later became a journeyman plumber, a trade he practiced for well over 30 years. He was an active member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 404. Tim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. Timothy was preceded in death by his birth mother, Peggy Cain, and his father, Robert Kidd. He is survived by his mother, Betty Kidd of Wichita Falls; two sons, Timothy (Suzanna) Kidd Jr., of Wichita Falls, and Brian (Katie)Kidd of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Sherry (Jack)Helmcamp of Wichita Falls, Linda (Ron) Bryant of Wichita Falls and Cathy Prado of Boise, Idaho. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Emma, Grady, Mason, Kaitlin, Barrett and Brodie.
