Donald Rankin

Donald Rankin, 55, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Thelma Rankin. Mr. Rankin was a member of Cumberland Mountain Church of God. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 37 years, Bethsheba Rankin; daughter, Becky (Jeff) Slatton; stepson, Jason Higgins; grandchildren, Dalton Slatton, Jerrilynn Higgins, Brooklynn Morrison, Hack Higgins, all of Whitwell; sisters, Linda Grimes of Jasper, Sue Layne, Angie Meeks, of Whitwell; brothers, Ronnie Rankin, Jimmy Rankin, of Whitwell; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-8p.m. today, March 28, 2015, at the Cumberland Mountain Church of God. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Cumberland Mountain Church of God with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
