Steven Scissom

Steven Eugene Scissom, 65, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Whitwell. Mr. Scissom was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Scissom; brother, Michael Scissom. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Stephanie (Brett) Danby of Clemmons, N.C.; mother, Mary A. Griffith Scissom of Whitwell; sister, Deb (Gary) Hooper of Whitwell; two grandchildren, Brett Alan Danby II, Noah Steven Danby; sister-in-law, Sandra Scissom; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. CDT, today, March 30, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, with Brother Adam Boggess and Brother Jerry Raines officiating.
