Jerry Alford

Jerry Alford, 54, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his home. Jerry was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and a 1979 graduate of East Ridge High School. Jerry was a movie projectionist at several local theaters, the most recent being the IMAX theater. Jerry was an animal lover, especially Lucy, his cat, who passed away last fall at the age of 21. Jerry was preceded in death his twin brother, Gary Mitchell Alford; maternal grandparents, Howards Phillips and Bertha and Bruce Brandon; paternal grandparents, William F. Alford and Alice Alford. Survivors include his parents, Carlton "Nick" and Martha Alford of Signal Mountain, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.
