Frank Burnette

Frank E. Burnette, 83, of Ooltewah, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., on May 19, 1932. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Frank was a retired industrial salesman. He attended the Church of Christian Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lena Burnett; and a sister, Maureen Burnette. Frank is survived by a daughter, Deborah Burnette; son, Barry (Christy) Burnette; grandchildren, Franklin Brooks Burnette and Sadie Rose Burnette; former wife, Barbara Burnette; siblings, Ben Burnette, Margaret Brown, and Nell Gebbie; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A celebration of life service for Frank will follow at 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel with Philip Farris and Loren Spellman officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
