C. Neil Herrick

Dr. C. Neil Herrick, 83, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, at his home. He was born Jan. 29, 1932, in Ogden, Utah, to the late Clyde William and Eliza Priscilla Herrick. He was a retired Colonel in the United States Army following 32 years of service. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His sister, June Roper, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Catherine "Cathy" Herrick; daughters, Tamara Ramos, of Hawaii and Stephanie Maya Herrick of Chattanooga; stepson, Seth (Lyndsey) Parker of Marietta, Ga. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1160 Ridgeway Ave., Signal Mountain, TN 37377 located just before the post-office. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon-1:30 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
