Andrew Richard

Andrew "J.D." Richard, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away early Friday morning May 29, 2015, at his residence. He was retired from Wheland Foundry after 30 years of service. He was a member of Bryant Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Bertha Nann Monroe; brother, Floyd Richard; sisters, Evelyn Richard, Brondll Gamble and Johnnie Burns. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Charlotte Avans Richard, of Chattanooga; he was a loving father of his children: Sharon Hamilton, of Bryant, Ala., James (Dianna) Richard, of Chattanooga, Ronnie (Leslie) Richard, of Madison, Tenn., and Terry (Renee) Richard, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, in the Chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Winters and Rev. Steve Camp officiating.
