Mary Gibson

Mary Elizabeth Gibson, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015. She was a member of Calvary Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Frank Gibson, and several siblings. Survivors include her son, John Gibson of Chattanooga; daughters, Mary Lou Gibson, Martha Bingham, both of Chattanooga, and Patricia Tarpley of Cleveland; sister, Dorothy Doss of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Rev. Ambrose Havey officiating. Interment will follow. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends today from 4-7 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
