Julissa Benton

Julissa Benton was born on July 21, 1972 in Lima, Peru; she passed into eternal life on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. Julissa was a native of Lima, Peru but had lived in the USA the last 8 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Amadeo Marchena Sanchez, of Lima in July of this year. Survivors include her husband, Jason Benton, of Hixson; her mother Elena Arana Silva; her sister, Isabel Otilia Marchena Arana; her two brothers, Luis Fernando Marchena Arana and Jaime David Marchena Arana and their wives Carmen and Helga respectively; two nieces; and three nephews in Peru. Julissa was a comadre to many children both in Peru and in this Country. She loved children and animals, especially cats. Julissas friendly personality and sweet nature gained her numerous friends wherever she went. She will be remembered with pleasure by people in many places throughout the world. A Celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will gather will friends on Saturday 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
