Brenda Pickett

Brenda Ross Pickett, 74, died tragically in a house fire Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. She was retired from Kmart. She was born in Gruetli-Laager on April 2, 1941, to Edwin and Mildred Layne Ross, who preceded her in death along with her sister, Royce Ross Sitz; brothers, Johnny, Paul Wayne and Lee Doug Ross. She is survived by her best friend and companion, Bailey Pickett; son, Eric Chapman; sisters, Mary Jane Wise and Joann Brownlee; brother, Greg (Stephanie) Ross; many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. CST Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Keith McBee officiating. Burial will follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
