Darrell Ables

Darrell G. Ables, 65, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Darrell was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. The son of the late James H. and Dorothy Griffith Ables, Darrell was also preceded in death by brothers, James "Jim", Larry "Pete", Johnny and Waylon Ables. Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Layne Ables; son, Dustin Ables; sister, Susie Ables Masters, all of Whitwell, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Cecil Baxter will officiate, and honors will be provided by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
